French Toast Roll Ups

I was casually looking through recipes, looking for something new to make and I found this!
I can't find the my original source but since I haven't stopped making these the recipe it wired into my brain forever. Which is an amazing thing really, since algebraic functions haven't really brought anything this good.

  • bread
  • eggs
  • milk
  • filling (fruit, jam, spreads, whatever your heart desires)
  • butter
  • cinnamon sugar

So what you do is you grab however many slices of bread (OH by the way regular bread is delicious BUT Cinnabon bread with cinnamon swirls and raisins is a million times better!) you take off that crust no one wants anyway and you grab one of those pizza dough rollers and roll them up flat.

So that's done, and oh by the way if you haven't done this already make the french toast mix thing-milk and eggs- make as much as you need depending on how many mouths you're gonna be feeding.

Okay so then you can pretty much use WHATEVER FREAKING FILLING YOU WANT and spread it on one end of the bread. (Use filling generously) Mine was nutella with diced up strawberries. (AMAAAAZING) so then roll that up into, well a roll and if the bread doesn't wanna stay it helps to pinch the ends.

Now put butter on a warm pan. Let that heat up while you put your rolls int he french toast mix thing, don't get them toooo wet though, and put them on the pan.
Roll it over on the other side to cook evenly.
You should have a cinnamon sugar mix in a separate dish so when you take them outta the pan you roll em up in cinnamon sugar deliciousness.
AND BAM YOU'RE IN FRENCH TOAST HEAVEN. Seriously, I haven't made a breakfast so good that ended up making it for lunch too.. oops.
My mouth is watering just thinking about this.
NOW GO MAKE IT GO GO GO!
I'm not sure how long ago it was that I watched this movie but it was one of those movies.
I can't help but share it here, because I remember how good I felt right after I watched it with my sister a couple months ago. It stars Robert Downey Jr. and Marisa Tomei (whom my sister couldn't stop obsessing over) and its about this girl who goes looking for this guy she's sure is her soul mate in Italy with her best friend. I don't want to spoil anything so I'm just gonna stop there. If  you haven't seen, I'd add it to my bucket list
Go grab your best friend a bunch of snacks and get cozy on the couch, especially on an autumn weekend like this one.
